    "Python code has been developed for converting reported temperatures from many different scales (mostly obsolete historical scales) to the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90), which is the current standard for reporting temperatures.  One intended use is in evaluation and use of older thermophysical property measurements (for example for use in reference correlations), where the temperature was reported on an older scale (such as IPTS-68, ITS-48, or NBS-55) and should be converted to ITS-90 in order for all data to be handled consistently.\nThe conversion methods, covering 36 different scales, are described in: Allan H. Harvey, \"Conversion of Reported Temperatures from Historical Scales to the ITS-90,\" Int. J. Thermophys., to be submitted (2026).",
