This dataset consists of single source and mixture samples which were genotyped/sequenced with kits targeting Forensic DNA markers. The CE-STR kits reported for the single source samples include: Applied Biosystems GlobalFiler, Applied Biosystems Y-Filer Plus, Promega PowerPlex Fusion 6C, Promega PowerPlex Y23. The CE profiles are also included in a spreadsheet; more information can be found in the Readme_CE text file. The sequencing kits reported for the mixture and single source samples include: Verogen ForenSeq DNA Signature Prep Kit, Promega PowerSeq 46GY, Applied Biosystems Precision ID GlobalFiler NGS STR Panel v2. The single source samples only are reported for the PowerSeq CRM Nested System. More information can be found in the Readme file within each kit folder. This data was produced with approval from the NIST Research Protections Office. It is intended for research, training, and educational purposes only and could potentially contain errors due to limited review prior to uploading. This data should not be used to identify the donor of the profile or uploaded/searched versus public or law enforcement DNA databases.
