Macro-scale tensile data on additively manufactured (AM) IN625 in the as-built microstructural condition at room temperature and at different strain rates are provided in this data publication. The specimens are machined in accordance with ASTM-E8 subsize specimen with a gauge width of 6 mm and a gauge thickness of 4 mm. Three specimens are tested at a nominal strain rate of 0.001 1/s and 2 specimens are tested at a nominal strain rate of 0.01 1/s on a servo hydraulic material testing machine using a constant crosshead displacement rate of 0.03175 mm/s and 0.3175 mm/s, respectively. Stereo digital image correlation (DIC) is used to report a 25.4 mm gauge length virtual extensometer strain up to fracture for each experiment. A separate comma-separated-value (csv) file for each experiment is provided which contains time, engineering strain, and engineering stress data. The first row in the csv file gives the column name. The second row in the csv file gives the SI unit of the column. Please see SUMMARY_AMBench_2022_Tensile_data.pdf file for further details regarding the additive manufacturing procedures of the specimens, the composition of the IN625, and the measurements.
